Creating Chord Progressions

Live Guitar Course: Take a dive into the world of creating and memorizing chord progressions!

To start, we will look at the fundamental chord progressions of the blues, and slowly make our way up the twentieth-century lexicon of popular music. While we may be beginning in the blues, this course will branch out to numerous genres including but not limited to: folk, classic rock, soul, country, pop, and hard rock. On the technical side of our lessons, we will look at our first position chords, barre chords, chord extensions, and most importantly, how these all relate to our number system. Whether you are just beginning your journey with learning a few chord progressions, or you want to solidify your understanding of how keys and chords work, this course will help you understand, memorize, and create great harmony on the guitar!
